Good evening, and welcome. I have been at this desk since before you pulled into the drive, and I will still be here after you go up to your room, which is not ready.
You may ring the bell. Most guests ring it two or three times, and I appreciate the enthusiasm. I hear it the first time. I am simply finishing what I was doing, which at present is squaring a small white card to the edge of the desk.
Your luggage has been received. It is stacked to my left with the luggage of other guests whose rooms are not ready, and to my right with the luggage of guests who gave up and went to dinner. Everything is labeled. I have checked the system and consulted a colleague. My colleague is the snail at the end of the desk, and he is looking into it now. I will be with you momentarily, a word I use with care and some flexibility.
A funny shirt for anyone who has worked a hotel front desk or a check-in counter and kept a pleasant face the whole shift. It also suits the traveler who has waited in a lobby long enough to learn the concierge's first name.

Each shirt is printed for you, so we can't take returns for a change of mind or the wrong size. If it arrives misprinted, damaged or defective, email us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it or refund you, and you won't need to send it back.
