The Chair's account
I had my key this morning. I remember it clearly, because I locked the door with it, and I'm certain the door was locked, because I went back twice to check.
Now the key is gone. I have turned out my right pocket, which contained the lining of my right pocket. I have checked my breast pocket and the inside one, and I have retraced my steps as far as the spot where I am standing now.
An investigation has been opened. I have drawn up a list of everyone who had access to the key, and I am at the top of it. Witnesses have been unhelpful. If you happen to see it, it is brass, about two inches long and almost certainly somewhere very close by.
A funny shirt for anyone who has hunted for their glasses while wearing them. It makes a good gift for the friend who always has to run back inside for something.
