The Chair's account
The meeting was called for nine. I arrived at half past eight, wound my pocket watch and stood by the door to greet the members as they came.
One member came. He is a tortoise, long respected on the Committee, and he was seen leaving his house shortly after eight. At a quarter past eleven he reached my feet. He is still moving, so I believe he means to carry on to the conference room.
I have checked the watch several times, and it is accurate. Nobody is complaining, partly because nobody else is here. When he arrives I'll tell him what I always tell him, which is that we can begin whenever he's ready. He has always taken me at my word.
A funny shirt for the chronically early, and for anyone who has waited on a slow coworker. The slow coworker deserves one too.

Each shirt is printed for you, so we can't take returns for a change of mind or the wrong size. If it arrives misprinted, damaged or defective, email us a photo within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it or refund you, and you won't need to send it back.
